Oh Oh Get On the Floor. Dance 'Til You Got No More.

Let me share a little story of this past week. Being in a theatre until one or later in the morning and pretending you like it is not fun. I repeat, NOT FUN. However, there is an upside to this sad tale. When you spend all this time in the theatre with fun people, there are many memories that are made. To all my fellow MCC dance company members and staffers, thank you for the hilariously crazy moments this past week. Chili's, Applebees, BIG GAPING HOLE!!! GRANDE PROFUNDO OJO!!!, haha and other explicit material. Awesome show and showcase everybody!! RESPECT!!!!!!!

A Piece of Cake

Hello fellow blog stalkers!! I will start off this post by expressing to you all how AWESOME this spring break has been to me. Special thanks to my family and friends... I have not been bored once since I stayed here in good ol' Mesa. We have been doing fun things everyday. One of which was a cake decorating contest. So random, but so dang fun.
The theme for this contest was March. My group decided to go with the classic layer cake with dip dyed effect and spring detail. And although its not pro status decorating i'd say we did a pretty awesome job.
I mean who wouldn't want to eat that!!

All cakes baked and decorated were fan freakin tastic in there own way. Including Addison and Chloe's lepricon and Petey and Emily's group of bunnies (not meant to me suggestive, but it is what bunnies do.. especailly in spring hahahaha). So glad we did this. And if you need a fun activity to do. I strongly suggest this one. It's legit.

Spontaneity Rocks

So once upon a time it was my birthday and my fabulous friends took me to get some frozen custard. And we somehow came to the conclusion a Six Flags trip should happen. A little after two weeks later… yup, we were running around six flags like hooligans in monopoly shirts that said “go to jail”. And yes we did get many a compliment on out on our totally thug-like matchingness. That day was epic, really it was. I had never been to Six Flags before and now I am totally addicted. Favorite rides include: Viper, X2, Goliath, Scream, and Tatsu(even though I got crazy sick on it, but we won’t tell that part of the story). Let’s just say a luscious dinner at Souplantation cured me.

Then we started our drive down to La Jolla to Christiaan’s aunt and uncle’s house. I’ve never seen someone falling asleep and freaking out at the same time on a car ride. Haha Chloe managed to do that. One moment she would be fighting to stay awake with Lucas, bless her heart, but could barely keep her eyes open, the next she would be out like a light, and then all the sudden she would wake up freaking out saying, “Lucas! It’s not a race to see who’s first, it’s a race to see who’s alive!!” Haha poor Chloe was exhausted along with the rest of us, but Lucas got us there safely as usual.

The house was BEAUTIFUL!! The girls got to stay in the basement and the guys in the upstairs apartment. We were in heaven after an almost restless night and day of running around the theme park. We slept like rocks. There may or may not have been a problem with the toilet and a misunderstanding with the guys waking the girls up for church buuut… we won’t reveal that at this time (cough cough). Visits to the San Diego temple and La Jolla Cove were much needed before we headed home. The weather was PERFECT, the temple was stunning as always, and the beach was nude. Okay maybe it wasn’t but Tyler almost was!! Haha yeppp he did it. He ran into the ocean in his boxers though the weather was cold and windy. That kid’s got GUTS.

The drive home was a foggy one that included many Cheez-its, Pretzels, Bugles, Kit kats, York patties, Oatmeal cookies, Butterfingers, and CapriSuns. A stop at Lucas’s sisters house in Yuma was very delightful. At which we were fed Hawaiian haystacks and cheese cake. And she sent us on our merry way with bellies full and smiling faces. Three hours later and we were home. Our bonding time and memories will never be forgotten. It was without a doubt an out of this world road trip.

Guess who's 19

So yesterday was my birthday. And I had to be at school... Haha anyways, it was yet another fantastic birthday. I went to the fabulous Kona Grill with my family for dinner. Somehow it doesn't get any better than alvocado egg rolls with sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, and a honey-cilantro dipping sauce for an appetizer. ANNNNDDD succulent macadamia nut chicken with white cheddar mashed potatoes and wok-tossed vegetables, served with shoyu-cream sauce and a pineapple papaya marmalade for the main dish. Yup, I LOVE food. Then, some amazing friends of mine set up a fun get together at Nielsen's frozen custard. WHAT A NIGHT!! I also recieved some great gifts from my friends and family. A new camera included. I am sooo lucky. My new camera is straight up ridiculous. The new Samsung TL220... its legit. So that is the summary of my fantabulous 19th birthday. So thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and great memories. Here's to the last year of being a teenager!!!

shout out to cwistiaan

So this is just a shout out to one of my best friends in the world. Yes you guessed it, its Christiaan Schmid! This kid has been there for me through thick and thin and I am so thankful for him. So we play this game called funny bones, compliments of Chloe Nielsen. Christiaan and I picked up the card "nose to nose" so we had to hold it between are noses. Very difficult and funny, hence why we are laughing hysterically.

"SNAP SNAP" the adams family

Dearest Bloggers, I must apologize to you. For I have not been a consistant blogger myself. But you will just have to get over it because I have been far too busy having a fantastic break. And now, its back to school time. And I must admit that I am slightly excited for it. Maybe its because I've have missed good ol' MCC or maybe because my schedule this semester is a piece of ice cream cake. Yes, ice cream cake... because its my favorite :)anywayyyyy, I am getting off topic. This post is about my fam damily. They are great. yes its true they are and I love them more than ice cream cake. Here is our most recent family photo, and although it was difficult getting a good shot with five horses, two lab pups, and one very pampered black yorkie poo, I have to say I think these pictures are pretty dang adorable. And, I have a feeling all you bloggers of the world will agree with me. enjoy!!

Finals

This is what my face looks like during finals week.. yeah pretty dang cute huh. I am so ready for school to be out its not even funny. Also, I decided that its okay if I get a B in a class or two. Don't freak out mom. But hey! No one is perfect! And even though normally I would say B stands for "bad", I've had a change of heart. B now stands for hmm "balanced". why you ask? wellllll let me tell you. Instead of being a school/work freak I am making an effort to balance my life to have social time as well. It's pretty flipping fantastic if I do say so myself. Anywho, here's to finals week!! And if your face looks like mine. Don't you worry. You aren't alone.
